Financial Resource Management Advisory Committee

In 2001, Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES) Cooperative Extension established the Financial Resource Management Advisory Committee under the direction of Extension Financial Resource Management Specialist, Dr. Barbara O'Neill. The objective of the advisory committee is to obtain input on Rutgers Cooperative Extension educational programs and to foster collaborations and partnerships to increase program outreach and impact.

The Financial Resource Management Advisory Committee consists of over 30 professionals in the area of personal finance and consumers of Rutgers Cooperative Extension programs and services. A variety of state and federal agencies are represented, as well as certified financial planner practitioners, volunteer financial counselors, media, bankers, credit counselors, military financial counselors, and representatives of non-profit organizations.
