Last-Minute Financial Catch-Up Strategies for Baby Boomers is designed to assist middle-aged persons who have saved little or nothing for retirement and are trying to make up for lost time. The presentation discusses over a dozen strategies that can be used to increase retirement savings or decrease the amount needed to invest by making specific lifestyle decisions. Topics covered include saving in tax-deferred retirement plans, "moonlighting" for additional income, investing more aggressively, "trading down" to a smaller home, and moving to a less expensive geographic location.
